The stepped slant base represents Japan’s mountainous landscape while also reflecting the respectful bow of the samurai before the Shogun.

Exceptional attention has been given to the handcrafted joinery, particularly in the hind legs, where traditional Japanese woodworking techniques are showcased. Every element, except the glass top, is crafted using authentic Japanese joinery and finished with an elegant French polish. A specially developed red polish has been created exclusively for this piece, bringing it as close as possible to the beauty and authenticity of the original inspiration.
