Absolute luxury in furniture is created out of 3 things, exquisite craftsmanship, heritage & purity of materials. The Venezia imperial bureau brings venetian mirror work, colonial furniture craftsmanship & brass metalwork together. The intricate detailing enhanced by the contrast of materials creates mesmerizing opulence seen only during the days of empires. The woodwork is rendered like glass with our French polish while the brass legs as well as hand carved brass embellishments decorate the pieces. For the venetian mirrors, forty artisans were brought & trained over a period of 3 years to be ambassadors of this dying craft. These crafts have stories of excellence hidden within their practice, through the combination of these crafts we aim to preserve & then revive the disappearing skills. What good is art if it can’t move through generations like an heirloom. The bureau is an embodiment of true luxury & wealth designed to be appreciated through several generations of the family. It also shows a commitment to the great crafts of the world.
